#6 Fleming over #4 Flatirons Academy
Flatirons Academy moved into the State Championship avenging their regular season loss to Briggsdale 76 to 56. Flatirons Academy ended the game on a massive run and played a great game. Flatirons Academy now must change their focus to another rematch with Fleming. Fleming moved into the State Championship with a 55 to 48 win over Kit Carson. Fleming is playing really good basketball and coming together at the right time. Fleming took an early lead and were able to hold off the comeback from Kit Carson. Fleming now has a rematch with Flatirons Academy for a State Title. I am going with Fleming over Flatirons Academy. I think Fleming is playing their best basketball. Fleming will have to keep the score low to get the win but should be a great game.
Class 2A
Playoff Prediction Record: 16-6, 73%
#8 Wray over #10 Limon
Wray moved into the State Championship beating Rye 76 to 68. Wray had a great game plan and executed it to move into the State Championship. Wray built an early lead and were able to avoid the comeback from Rye. Wray had 3 scorers over 15 points in the game. Wray now has a rematch against a hot Limon team. Limon has been road warriors during this great playoff run. Limon continued their hot streak beating Sanford 47 to 43. This was a great game and a game of runs. Sanford won the 1st and 3rd quarter but Limon was able to force 8 more turnovers than Sanford and have the last run to pull off the win. Limon now looks to get revenge on Wray from a loss during the regular season. I am going with Wray over Limon. Both teams are playing their best basketball. Wray won the regular season matchup by 25 but I expect this to be a much closer game. Wray I am giving the edge with their playoff experience but I have doubted Limon the past two rounds and was proven wrong both times.
Class 3A

#3 Platte Valley over #4 Lutheran
Platte Valley moved into the State Championship beating University 60 to 49. Platte Valley was able to hold server against University and pick up their second win over University. Platte Valley made some big adjustments at halftime and outscored University in the second half 33 to 23. Platte Valley now must focus on a very good Lutheran team who is on a big winning streak. Lutheran continued their winning streak beating Vanguard 48 to 40 and now look for a basketball State Title. Lutheran had a massive second quarter outscoring Vanguard 16 to 4. Lutheran will turn to senior Stephanie Schultz as they try and win a state title. I am going with Platte Valley over Lutheran. I think the depth of scoring from Platte Valley will be the difference in the game. I think this will be a great game and look for this to come down to the wire.
