Class 2A Volleyball Weekly Recap and Preview
By: Tayler Garcia
This week we get back to looking at the top teams on the CHSAA Seeding Index. With less than a month to go in the regular season, we will be seeing some great matchups in coming weeks.

Simla
With only six games left in the regular season, Simla still remains with a perfect record of 17-0 overall and 6-0 in league play. They are 1st in the Black Forest League and 1st in the CHSAA Seeding Index. Simla also continues their single lost set streak after beating both Monument Academy and Strasburg last week and this week 3-0. There have not been any 2A teams to really make the cubs sweat the loss of their winning streak, but if there is any team that will give the team a run for their money, it will be against tonight’s opponent in Merino. Merino is the top 1A team and they have defeated many 2A teams this season. If Simla can make it past Merino unscathed, they will then get a small break and return to face Liberty Tree Academy on 10/17.
