Class 2A Baseball State Tournament Predictions
If you have been following MileHigh Prep Report since we started, you know how much we like doing our predictions even if we catch slack. Just know we are not cheering against any teams, and we are proven wrong all the time. We enjoy putting the predictions out there and look forward to seeing the results of the games. Biggest thing is Good Luck to all teams and leave it all on the diamond.

Winners Bracket First Round
#1 Forge Christian over #8 Front Range Christian
Forge Christian has been one of the top teams in Class 2A all year. They have big wins over Denver Christian, Dayspring Christian, Colorado Academy, and Eaton. They have one of the most complete lineups top to bottom and pitching has come along for Forge Christian. Front Range Christian pulled not just one upset but two at regionals defeating both the #4 and #13 seeds. Front Range Christian shown they have some pitching depth and they will try and shock everyone in the first round.
#4 Denver Christian over #5 Dayspring Christian Best Matchup in Opening Round
Both teams played well at regionals. Denver Christian was pushed in both matchups by Fowler and Dolores. Denver Christian has also played a tough schedule and will hope it has them prepared for a deep run. Dayspring Christian also played well at regionals and got tested by a red hot Olathe team. Dayspring Christian pitching has been top notch all year.
#3 Yuma over #6 Limon Second Best Matchup in Opening Round
Yuma won their region on a walk off and they advanced with solid defense and pitching. Limon was able to hold off Sanford in game one then leaned on their pitching to get the win over Platte Valley. Both teams will look to keep the momentum and advance into the Quarterfinals.
#2 Monte Vista over #7 Peyton Third Best Matchup in Opening Round
This could be a sneaky good matchup as both teams come into the state tournament with some confidence. Monte Vista played well at regionals getting a 6-run win in the opening round before 10-running a red-hot Dawson School. Peyton was tested in both matchups coming from behind to beat Ignacio then getting a stellar pitching performance to advance.
