MileHigh Prep Report Week 8 Football Power Rankings
Some teams made statement wins and I have adjusted some rankings accordingly. With the RPI out those are the rankings that really matter the most. My rankings look more at what teams are the best when not just looking at the RPI numbers. The RPI rankings as you know look at 30% winning percentage, 40% opponents winning percentage, and 30% opponents opponents winning percentage.

Notes: Plenty of movement in 8-Man. Hoehne blasted Holly and moves up to #3 Holly drops to #8. Mancos jumps Caliche to #4 after a surge in the fourth to beat Sanford. Rangely, Sargent move up 1 spot. Sanford stays put at #9 and Fowler rejoins the rankings this week. Soroco falls out of the rankings losing to Vail Christian. I picked Fowler over Akron due to their head to head matchup. Pikes Peak Christian is also close to being ranked. |

Otis falls to #6 after losing to Briggsdale. Mountain Valley jumps to #7. Idalia lost to Arickaree/Woodlin and falls to #8. Briggsdale joins the rankings this week and Granada falls out. |
