Post Break Wrestling Update

Wrestling articles continue to be written by Carlos Valencia.  He will be getting more into depth now that we start 2019.

Christmas break is coming to an end and coaches and kids are starting to get back into the wrestling rooms.  This is the start of crunch time for the wrestlers and their coaches.  Kids are trying to get to their weights and coaches are trying to finalize line ups.

This week there are some tournament going on but not much with a lot of schools not starting back up until Monday.  One tournament that catches my eye is the Colt Classic held by Pueblo South.  Some 3A and 2A teams that I noticed will attend are Alamosa ranked #1 in 3A and La Junta.  In 2A Rocky Ford ranked 3rd and Rye ranked 6th.  The smalls schools should make a good impression at this tournament.
