MileHigh Prep Report Class 3A Volleyball Awards
My second annual Volleyball awards! I needed some help and set some guidelines for the awards. I got some help from the CHSAA bulletin.
- First, the Player of the Year can come from any team but I favor the State Champion team.
- Second, Player of the Tournament can come from any team that made it to the State Tournament
- I will pick a Top Hitter (Based on kills, Kill%, and Hitting %), Top Setter (Most assists and assist per set), Top Libero (most digs and digs per set), and Best Server (Which will be most aces on the year)
- I will have a first, second and honorable mention team. To make those team you have to at least qualify for Regionals or have some outstanding stats. Making regionals does not guarantee you a player from your team a spot. First and Second Team All MileHigh will comprise of 3 Setters, 2 Libero’s, and 5 hitters. Honorable mention will be a mix of players.
- Last, I would love any input on my rules and the way I did these teams. This is just my second year ever doing this.
