I know a bit late but at least wanted to get my Predictions down.  I am just going to give my league predictions of the order and go into more depth next week.  I will be updating my Class 1A stuff tomorrow and have the On the Mat Rankings out today as well.

Confluence League

Playoff Contenders: DSST-Green Valley Ranch or whoever finishes in first place maybe second place team.

My Predictions for the Colorado League

League Champion: Bennett

Dark Horse: Bruce Randolph

Playoff Contenders: Bennett, DSST-Montview, Lake County (Class 2A), Bruce Randolph.

The Colorado League may just get 2 teams into the Class 3A playoffs.  A third team could emerge if they can finish with a decent record.  Lake County is a team to watch for in the Class 2A side of things.  If they do finish third in the Frontier League they will probably be in contention for a spot.

Intermountain League

#1 Centauri

#2 Pagosa Springs

#3 Alamosa

#4 Bayfield

#5 Montezuma-Cortez

My Predictions for Intermountain League

League Champion: Centauri

Dark Horse: Bayfield

Playoff Contenders: Centauri and Pagosa Springs

Alamosa could quickly turn into a playoff contender if this young team can gel and finish in third place in the IML.  Alamosa will be challenged by Bayfield for the #3 spot and Bayfield could easily push for a playoff spot as well.

Metro League

#1 Lutheran

#2 Faith Christian

#3 Colorado Academy

#4 Manual

My Predictions for Metro League

League Champion: Lutheran

Dark Horse: Machebeuf

Playoff Contenders: Lutheran, Faith Christian, Manual, Machebeuf, Jefferson Academy

I would say the Top 6 teams in this league all get into the playoffs.  The #7 team will be in the discussion along with the #8 team.  With some league being weaker than normal you could see a big surge of teams from the Metro League

Patriot League

#1 Eaton

#2 Platte Valley

#5 Strasburg

My Predictions for Patriot League

League Champion: Eaton

Dark Horse: Strasburg

Playoff Contenders: Eaton, Platte Valley, Sterling, Estes Park, Strasburg, Resurrection Christian

I would say the Top 6 teams in this league all get into the playoffs.  The #7 team will be in the discussion along with the #8 team.  The Patriot League is usually one of the stronger League and should be well represented in the 24-team playoff.

Tri-Peaks League

#1 Manitou Springs

#2 Salida

#3 St. Mary’s

#4 C.S Christian

#5 Buena Vista

#6 Vanguard

#7 La Junta

My Predictions for Tri-Peaks League

League Champion: Manitou Springs

Dark Horse: Buena Vista

Playoff Contenders: Manitou Springs, Salida, St. Mary’s, C.S Christian, Buena Vista

I would say the Top 5 teams all have a good shot at making the playoffs.  The #6 and #7 teams will probably be bubble teams and compete for one of the final spots in the Class 3A playoffs.

Western Slope League

#1 Coal Ridge

#2 Moffat County

#3 Gunnison

#4 Grand Valley

#5 Basalt

#6 Roaring Fork

#7 Aspen

#8 Delta

My Predictions for Western Slope League

League Champion: Coal Ridge

Dark Horse: Grand Valley

Playoff Contenders: Coal Ridge, Moffat County, Gunnison, Grand Valley

The top 3 teams should all get into the class 3A playoffs.  The #4 and #5 teams could get into the playoffs but will have to be dominate in non-league games.
