After a short time away I am happy to be back. The second half of the season is upon us. The first half of the season went by quick , with so many good tournaments.
There were two tournaments that stood out the most, they were the Warrior Classic and the Jimmy John Christmas Tournament. These tournaments had a good turn out of 3A and 2A teams. In the Jimmy John’s tournament both the 2A and 3A schools had a good turn out. There were a total of 19 placers from the schools combined. With that turn out the smaller schools made a good statement in that Tournament. At the Warrior Classic they had 15 teams from Class 2A/3A attend. It was a good turn out with a 2A team placing 2nd in Cederage high school. They had a total of 6 placers with two Champions. As a result there were a total of 28 placers. These teams and wrestlers had an amazing weekend at both tournaments.
As kids start to get back into practices they get ready for dual meets as well as tournaments this weekend. I hope you guys have a good and safe weekend and wrestle tough. Good luck and God bless.
