Class 3A Baseball State Tournament Predictions
If you have been following MileHigh Prep Report since we started, you know how much we like doing our predictions even if we catch slack. Just know we are not cheering against any teams, and we are proven wrong all the time. We enjoy putting the predictions out there and look forward to seeing the results of the games. Winners Bracket First Round
#1 University over #8 Wellington Second Best Matchup of the Opening Round
University will be tested by a red-hot Wellington team. Both teams have top pitching so expect this to come down to clutch hitting. Should be one of the better matchups of the opening round.
#5 Delta over #4 Classical Academy Best Matchup of the Opening Round
In my opinion the best matchup of the First Round of the State Baseball Tournament. Two teams who have been ranked most of the season and have been consistently the top teams. Pitching matchup will be the key.
#3 Montezuma-Cortez over #6 D’Evelyn
Class 3A has been chaotic all season. Once again, I really like this matchup in the opening round. Montezuma-Cortez comes into regional playing their best and look for them to try and get off to a hot start. D’Evelyn also played well at regionals.
#2 Eaton over #7 Elizabeth Third Best Matchup of the Opening Round
I know I feel like I am repeating myself but again another great matchup in the opening round. Elizabeth played well at regionals pulling the big upset. Eaton has been a top team all year and will look to advance.
