MileHigh Prep Reports Class 2A Football Top Returning QB’s
Football Season is just around the corner. My top returning QB’s are not just stat based but also who is returning, tradition, Impact on the team and of course I will use stats. I will give my top 10 and then 5 or more potential QB’s. I don’t mind hearing feedback if I missed someone. Also, if your team has a new QB with no stats or any information I will have a hard time picking them. (Stats pulled from Maxpreps.com)

Delta – Stoney Cole Morlan 6’3” 205 lb. Only went 5 for 10 for 38yds passing last year but lead the team with 7 rushing TD’s. Delta recently won the 7on7 tournament at Colorado Mesa University with Stoney Cole Morlan QBing. The tournament included 4A Montrose, 4A Grand Junction Central, 5A GJHS and 4A Fruita. Delta competes in that tourney every year but this is the first time they’ve won it.

I know two different back up QBs had yardage so I did not pick one. I saw him play a bit against Alamosa last year.

Marcelis Allen, Kennedy. Will be a 3 year starter and has improved each year. Dual threat. If they can provide an offensive line, his weapons all come back a year older and improved, then he can put up numbers at 2A his senior year.
