Regional Tournament Projections Volleyball Class 3A
It is still September, but we are nearing the halfway point of the season. We give our first regional projections for Class 3A and it’s still early in the season so expect changes. We will continue to post Regional Projections weekly going forward. (Updated 9/25 @8am)
The Regional format for 3A goes as follows:
All League Champions will automatically earn a berth to regionals (As Long as there is a minimum of 5 teams in the league). The remaining teams (up to 24 for 1A and 36 for 2A & 3A) will be selected straight off the CHSAA Rankings published at the end of the regular season. Teams will then be seeded based on the CHSAA Rankings. When Possible, Geography will be considered for number three seeds of each region. Team seeded #1 thru #12 will host. All Regional Winners will automatically earn a berth to the State Championships. 12 Regional Winners advance to State.

*5A/4A/3A Continental: Classical Academy
*4A/3A Patriots Peak: University
*4A/3A Northern: 4A team wins
*4A/3A Jeffco: 4A team wins
*3A/2A/1A Foothills: 2A team wins
*3A/2A Tri-Peaks: Lamar
*3A/2A Pioneer: Bennett
*3A/2A Patriot Plains: Sterling
*3A/2A Intermountain: Alamosa
*3A/1A City League: Bruce Randolph
3A Western Slope: Aspen
3A Metro: Jefferson Academy
*Mixed League must be won outright by 3A Teams
First Four Out:
Woodland Park (37), Frontier Academy (38), D’Evelyn (39), Fort Lupton (40)
Bracket: Must win your region to advance to State Tournament
