Regional Tournament Projections Volleyball Class 2A
It is still September, but we are nearing the halfway point of the season. We give our first regional projections for Class 2A and it’s still early in the season so expect changes. We will continue to post Regional Projections weekly going forward. (Updated 9/30 @8am)
The Regional format for 2A goes as follows:
All League Champions will automatically earn a berth to regionals (As Long as there is a minimum of 5 teams in the league). The remaining teams (up to 24 for 1A and 36 for 2A & 3A) will be selected straight off the CHSAA Rankings published at the end of the regular season. Teams will then be seeded based on the CHSAA Rankings. When Possible, Geography will be considered for number three seeds of each region. Team seeded #1 thru #12 will host. All Regional Winners will automatically earn a berth to the State Championships. 12 Regional Winners advance to State.

*3A/2A Pioneer League: 3A team Wins

*3A/2A Intermountain: 3A team Wins
*2A/1A Western Slope: Vail Christian
*2A/1A West Central: Platte Canyon
*2A/1A Union Pacific: 1A team Wins
*2A/1A San Juan: Ignacio
*2A/1A Mile High: Lyons
*2A/1A Lower Platte: Merino
*2A/1A 5280 League: 1A team Wins
2A Southern Peaks: Del Norte
2A Santa Fe League: Las Animas
2A Black Forest League: Evangel Christian
*Mixed Leagues must be won outright by 2A Teams
