I look back at how I did on my preseason predictions and my Preseason League Predictions. It is always great to go back and look to see how the season turned out. Congratulations to all teams this season! Preseason Rankings are my Preseason Rankings not the Media Poll Rankings.
Class 2A
Preseason Rankings and Preseason League Predictions
In my Preseason Rankings I ranked who I thought would be the top 16 teams. Of the 16 teams ranked 16 of them made the playoffs. Since 2A went to 24 teams I look at my other teams to watch I ranked 21 of the 24 teams that made the playoffs. I did put D’Evelyn, Bayfield, and Gunnison as teams to watch and they did not make the playoffs.
This preseason I picked the 24 teams I thought would make the playoffs. The 24 teams I picked to make the playoffs were Weld Central, Englewood, Kennedy, The Academy, Elizabeth, Forge Christian, Classical Academy, Strasburg, Denver West, Wellington, Eaton, University, Brush, Resurrection Christian, La Junta, Lamar, Florence, Alamosa, Banning Lewis, Delta, Basalt, Pagosa Springs, Coal Ridge, and Aspen. Of those 24 teams, 12 of them made the playoffs. The two teams who missed the playoff were Kennedy & The Academy. The two teams not listed to make the Playoffs were Prospect Ridge & Fort Lupton
My Top 10 Preseason Teams were: Wellington, Eaton, Elizabeth, Forge Christian, La Junta, Delta, Lamar, Florence, Basalt, Strasburg. Of those 10 teams only 3 are not a top 10 seed in the Class 2A Playoff Bracket (Florence, Basalt, and Strasburg) with Alamosa, Classical Academy, and Brush being the other top 10 seeds.

The three teams that missed the playoffs were (Preseason Rankings) #10 Buena Vista, #12 Byers, #14 Wray. I did not have Dayspring Christian, North Fork, and Platte Canyon in my Preseason top 16 but were mentioned as a team to watch for.
In my preseason I put the 16 teams I thought would make the playoffs. The 16 teams I picked to make the playoffs were Yuma, Wray, Wiggins, Platte Valley, Denver Christian, Flatirons Academy, Limon, Burlington, C.S Christian, Byers, Centauri, Monte Vista, Rye, Meeker, Cedaredge, North Fork. Of those 16 teams, 14 of them made the playoffs. The two teams who missed the playoffs were Wray & Byers. The two teams not listed to make the Playoffs were Dayspring Christian & Platte Canyon. Both were listed as teams to be in the mix.
My Top 10 Preseason Teams were: Limon, Meeker, Centauri, Burlington, Monte Vista, C.S Christian, Yuma, Wiggins, Rye, Buena Vista. I did not have Las Animas, Vail Christian, and Front Range Christian in my Preseason top 16 but were mentioned in my teams to watch for.

The 16 teams I picked to make the playoffs were McClave, Fowler, Hoehne, Mancos, Norwood, Dolores, Sedgwick County, Stratton, Merino, Akron, Simla, Crowley County, West Grand, Hayden, Lyons, Haxtun. Of those 16 teams, 12 of them made the playoffs. The four teams who missed the playoff were Dolores, Merino, Lyons, and Haxtun. The four teams not listed to make the Playoffs were Sanford, Las Animas, Front Range Christian, and Vail Christian. All 4 were listed as teams to be in the mix.

The two teams that missed the playoffs were (Preseason Rankings) #13 Kiowa & #15 Mountain Valley. I did not have Bethune, Briggsdale, and Hanover in my Preseason top 16 but were mentioned in my teams to watch for.
I did pick the 16 teams I thought would make the playoffs in the preseason. The 16 teams I picked to make the playoffs were Idalia, Otis, Flagler, Kiowa, Fleming, Peetz, Caliche, Prairie, Cheyenne Wells, Granada, Walsh, Wiley, Branson/Kim, Mountain Valley, Hanover, La Veta. Of those 16 teams, 13 of them made the playoffs. The three teams who missed the playoff were Kiowa, Mountain Valley, and La Veta. The three teams not listed to make the Playoffs were Bethune, Briggsdale, and Genoa-Hugo. All teams were listed as in the mix.
