Notes: Some slight movement after the first week back after break. I decided to leave Colorado Springs Christian at #1 even after picking up their first loss to Rampart 7-3(5A). Due to the fact of playing a 5A team then the next night they beat a Fruita Monument (4A) the next night. 1 thru 4 all stay the same from last week. Kent Denver lost to Alamosa on Friday which moved Alamosa up to #5. I moved Kent Denver to #7 behind Faith Christian. Colorado Academy lost to their first 3A opponent of the year which dropped them out of the rankings for the second time this year. Basalt moved to #9 and DSST-Green Valley Ranch moved to #10 after upsetting Colorado Academy by 8. |

Notes: No changes from numbers 1 thru 7 as all teams won. Two teams drop out of the ranking this week. Hotchkiss and Ignacio drop out of the rankings. John Mall moved up to number 8 because of the losses ahead of them. Hotchkiss is still in the top 15 but Ignacio fell completely out of the top 20 due to back to back losses. Holyoke rejoins the rankings after starting the season at #3 they rejoin at #9 after beating Haxtun and Burlington. Crowley County also rejoins the rankings at #10 they revenged their early season loss to Rocky Ford and also beat 3A Florence. |

Notes: Very little movement in the polls this week. #1 thru 6 either won or didn’t play in the opening week of the season. #7 Peetz lost but it was to a Merino squad that is getting better and better each week so I didn’t move them back. The only team that dropped out was Jim Elliot. They lost to Rocky Mountain Lutheran so I dropped them out even though it was a very quality loss. That loss moved Shining Mountain up to #9 and Kit Carson rejoins the rankings. Kit Carson got back on track winning 3 straight games. Kit Carson and Jim Elliot are extremely close in the rankings if I had a 10A and 10B that is how I would do it. |
