With the High School basketball season coming to an end it was a great year with some of the best games i watched happening this weekend. This was my first year covering High School basketball on my page and I would say it was a success and it will from now on Cover Basketball and Football. This will by my final article till i get my way to early rankings for 2A thru 6 Man football rankings. I though about doing Baseball but I have decided not to. Thank again for another great year of sports and now the count down till High School Football!

Boys
3A- Congratulations to the Sterling boys on grabbing the state title they pulled of a miraculous ending with a steal and score and were able to shock the field. They were the #10 seed and were able to capture the state title. Here is the article from Chsaanow.com.

2A- Congratulations to the Holyoke boys on winning the state title. The State Championship game was what the bracket predicted having the #1 and #2 seeds meeting up. This was their 4th battle of the season and it all came down to the fourth and final quarter. Holyoke as the #2 seed pulled the upset over #1 Sedgwick County. The 2A boys bracket was wide open and there were a ton of great games most of which came down to the final buzzard.

1A- Congratulations to the Holly boys on coming from behind and winning the state title. Holly was trailing by 16 points and Holly went on a huge 30-6 run to come back and grab the title win. The state championship was the #1 vs #2 and a rematch from a similar scoring game earlier in the year.

Girls
3A- Congratulations to the Lamar girls for capturing the state title. Lamar was in narrow battle after narrow battle throughout the final 8. Lamar hit a buzzard beater in the semifinals to advance to the state championship and then pulled out a 24-18 win over CSCS to capture the title.

2A- Congratulations to the Paonia girls on winning the state title. In my final predictions I said the semifinals between Paonia and Del Norte is was the state championship game and it was. Paonia escaped a narrow 1 point victory over Del Norte then blew out Wray 59-42 in the state championship. Paonia finished off the perfect season going 25-0.
1A- Congratulations to the Kit Carson girls on finishing off the perfect season on the way to the state title. Kit Carson dominated in the state finals winning 55-35. Kit Carson is a young team and will return a ton of a talent next year and will be the #1 team next year.
