MileHigh Prep Report Week 7 Football Power Rankings
With the RPI out those are the rankings that really matter the most. My rankings look more at what teams are the best when not just looking at the RPI numbers. The RPI rankings as you know look at 30% winning percentage, 40% opponents winning percentage, and 30% opponents opponents winning percentage.

Dropped out: Berthoud (9) |
Notes: One minor change this week Berthoud lost to Resurrection Christian and fell out of the rankings. I Decided to rank Delta after a few close wins over Aspen and Bennett. |

| 10. Soroco | 10 |
| · Others: Fowler, Akron, Pikes Peak Christian, Vail Christian, Simla, Merino, Dayspring Christian
Dropped Out: Fowler (4) |
Notes: Some changes to the rankings this week. Fowler picked up their second straight loss and in fact it’s their 3rd loss on the field but only their second loss officially. I decided due to the margin of the lose to move Fowler out of the rankings and to #11. Hoehne moves up to #4, Caliche to #5, and Mancos to #6. Rangely stays put after falling 20 to 6 to West Grand. Sargent moves up to #8 picking up a huge win over Norwood. The new team this week is Sanford. Sanford is playing good football allowing just 26 points on the season. |
Class 6 man Last Week
| 1. Stratton/Liberty (5-0) | 1 (7 Weeks) |
| 2. Kit Carson (5-0) | 2 |
| 3. Otis (4-1) | 4 |
| 4. Peetz (3-2) | 5 |
| 5. Prairie (3-2) | 3 |
| 6. Arickaree/Woodlin (3-1) | 6 |
| 7. Idalia (3-2) | 7 |
| 8. Granada (3-2) | 10 |
| 9. Mountain Valley (4-0) | 9 |
| 10. Cheyenne Wells (3-2) | 8 |
| · Others: Briggsdale, Genoa-Hugo, Fleming, Cotopaxi, Walsh
Dropped Out: none |
Notes: Just some reshuffling in the top 10. #1 and #2 seem to be ahead of everyone else and don’t think they will move. Otis moves back to #3 after beating Prairie, Peetz moves back to #4, and Prairie falls back to #5. I almost moved Arickaree/Woodlin into the Top 5 but decided to keep them at #6. Idalia stays put at #7, Granada moves up to #8, Mountain Valley stays at #9, and Cheyenne Wells drops to #10. I do not see any teams outside the Top 10 that deserve a Top 10 spot which is why I kept it the same. Briggsdale and Genoa-Hugo are the two teams that may move into the rankings as the season goes. |
