We are a week away until Regional Tournaments. All the anticipation for next week is building. Coaches are thinking hard and making the best decisions for their teams and individuals; the are strategically deciding whether the wrestlers will stay at the certified weight or move up a weight class.
This week we saw a couple of teams get in a dual or two, but thats pretty much what most of the high schools did around the State this week. One tournament being held this weekend is the Charger Invitational held in Crowley County. This is a good tournament for kids who didnt get many matches due to injury or being sick. Teams do take varsity kids and there will be some ranked wrestlers wrestling so its a very good tournament to end the year with. I have been to this tournament and there are always some exciting final matches.
