Hey wrestling fans we’ve got about two weeks until regionals and 3 weeks until state. This year has gone by very quickly. I’ve noticed around this time kids start to get a little banged up from injuries. I hope all guys recover soon. This weekend there are two meets that catch my attention.
The Kourtney Lake duals and the Valley Classic held in Center this weekend. There will be 19 to 25 teams from around the state in class 2A attending both days. There will be 5 top 10 teams in attendance from 2A and a top 10 Team in 3A, making 6 ranked teams there. A total of 98 ranked wrestlers will be in attendance both days with a couple of matches having the top 2 ranked kids wrestling in the finals on Saturaday evening.
So wrestling fans, this will be the place to be this weekend for some good wrestling action. I will be attending this weekend as I will be helping out with the tournament. Good luck to all wrestlers attending all the tournaments this weekend.
