Class 3A Baseball Regional Projections (5/11/2023)

We give are first Regional Projections using the latest CHSAA Seeding and Selection Index. Remember for Class 3A you must be in the top 32 to make it to regionals. Also, for Class 3A if you win your regional you make it to the double elimination bracket.

Class 3A

Thirty-two (32) teams qualify for the regional tournament based on the CHSAA Seeding Index (RPI/Maxpreps Rankings). League champions not in the top would receive an automatic qualifying position (minimum 5 teams in a league for an automatic berth).
8 teams with the highest CHSAA Seeding Index (RPI/Maxpreps) will host a regional, the remaining twenty-four (24) teams will then be seeded by the CHSAA Seeding Index (RPI/Maxpreps) and then any first round league matchups will be adjusted.
The bottom eight (8) teams may be moved for geographical purposes.
Regional Tournaments will be single elimination, with the 8 regional winners advancing to a double elimination state tournament to be played TBA at a predetermined site.
