MileHigh Prep Reports Top Returning O-Lines Class 2A
Picking the top returning Offensive Lineman was a very challenging feat. It was a lot of digging through who was lost and who is coming back. An offensive line could be hurt by departures of a few players or could strengthen. This was one of the toughest things to pick so I am not putting them in any order! If you think I am missing someone or have the wrong info please message me. It’s very tough to know exactly what offensive linemen have graduated or returning. (If you know the starters on the offensive line and want names to put down feel free to message me)

| Eaton HS | Not putting Eaton on this list would be a mistake. Eaton will return at least 3 starters on the offensive line if not more. The offensive line must anchor the Eaton offense until the skill position players round into form. This unit is going to be big once again for Eaton. |
| Delta HS | Delta will be returning a very talented offensive line this season. Delta returns at least 3 starters on the offensive line and return plenty of talent from the state championship game. Delta offensive line will have a strong skill position group behind them and will make this offense very tough to stop. |
| Montezuma-Cortez | Montezuma-Cortez had the biggest shock of last year reaching the semifinals. Montezuma-Cortez was led by a strong offensive line and will return at least 4 starters on the offensive line. Look for the rushing attack to be a huge threat for Cortez this year. The offensive line should have Montezuma-Cortez excited for 2023 |
| Basalt HS | Basalt had a very young offensive line last season and I believe return all 5 starters on the offensive line. Basalt will have to lean heavily on this offensive line as they lose nearly their entire skill position group. But if this offensive line can be the anchor look for Basalt to be a threat out west once again. |
| Berthoud HS | Berthoud is coming off there most successful year in a few seasons and will look for this offensive line to be the anchors once again. Berthoud returns at least 3 starters from last season. The rushing attack last season churned up 2300 yards and look for them to match that again this season. |
| Elizabeth HS | Elizabeth reached the playoffs a season ago but fell in the first round and they will look for their offensive line once again to get them back. Elizabeth returns at least 4 starters on the offensive line and should help push this rushing attack to another big season. |
| Englewood HS | Englewood offensive line was young last season with just 1 senior graduating from the offensive line group. Englewood will look to a big group of upcoming seniors and junior to push this team into the playoffs. Englewood will have key skill position players back, but their success will ride on the offensive line. |
| Wellington HS | Wellington has the youngest offensive line in Class 2A. Wellington found success in their first year as a program and some of that credit must be given to the offensive line. Wellington will look for this group to grown some more and look to have success in year 2. |
| Rifle HS | Rifle made it back to the playoffs last season and a big part was the improved play of their offensive line. Rifle will lose key pieces from that unit but have plenty of size coming back. Rifle will lean on the returning starters to be leaders this season. |
| D’Evelyn HS | D’Evelyn reached the playoffs last season behind the high-flying passing attack and the offensive line did a solid job of protecting the QB. D’Evelyn will return some key pieces from that offensive line, and they should once again be a threat to throw the ball around the yard. |
| Salida HS | Salida had a turnaround year a season ago and will look to find more success. Salida will return at least 3 starters on the offensive line and will lean on their experience. Salida offensive line will be critical for the skill position group to continue to grow from last season. |
| University HS | University reached the second round of the playoffs last season. University will have some big holes to fill from last years offensive line. University will have key pieces back to be leaders. The success of next year will lean heavily upon University filling the holes left by graduation. |
| Platte Valley | Platte Valley had a down year a season ago and they will look to bounce back this year. Platte Valley will have some holes to replace on their offensive line but have plenty of size coming back. The offensive line will be critical for the offense to find some skill position players around their QB. |
| Florence HS | Florence has transitioned well into Class 2A. Florence lose a good skill position group and will look to lean on their offensive line this season. Florence will return at least two starters on the offensive line, and they must be leaders for the new starters this season. If Florence can find success on their offensive line their offense will still click this year. |
