Class 2A Football Playoff Predictions Quarterfinals and Full Bracket

Class 2A Playoff Predictions Quarterfinals Only

#1 Delta over #9 Classical Academy

I think this could be the making of a very good game. Delta will look to get the offense going this week again and lean on a very good defense who will be tasked with stopping TCA who had a great game last week. TCA defense will truly be tested by a balanced offensive attack.

#4 Berthoud over #12 Moffat County

Moffat Count will be looking for their second upset in a row. Moffat County has used tough defense and a solid passing attack this season. They will face a Berthoud team who wants to run the ball first but can also throw the ball if needed. I think this will be a very physical game and expect this to be a lower scoring game.

#15 Eaton over #10 Pagosa Springs

Two double digit seeds and it should be a great game. Eaton showed that they are not your 3-time defending State Champions for no reason. Expect this to be a defensive game. It will be one or lost in the trenches and I think this is going to be a great game.

#6 University over #3 Rifle

I think this is going to be a great game. Two teams who don’t want to fall in the Quarterfinals and two teams who I think could push for the State Championship. Defense will be key as both teams have very dynamic QBs. I think whichever QB has a down game is the team who falls. This is a great matchup between QB Logan Gross and QB Coel Croissant.
