MileHigh Prep Report Girls Basketball Week 4 Rankings (Class 3A thru 1A)

We have completed three weeks of play across all classes. Most teams have played at least three games, but we are still very early in the season. Expect big changes early in the season until we start to see teams rise to the top. We still have a few games this week that could impact rankings. I won’t post new rankings until January 2^nd.

Class 3A

Notes: Class 3A is a bit of a mystery right now once you get outside the top 6 things are still very much up for grabs. We have two new teams join the rankings this week. Timnath joins the rankings at #7 and Montezuma-Cortez joins the rankings at #8. Cortez picked up a big win over Gunnison. Gunnison falls out of the rankings. I am guessing we won’t learn more about Class 3A until January.

Notes: We continue to see changes in Class 2A. This week we see two new teams join the rankings in Sanford and Heritage Christian. Sanford moves into the rankings due to their OT win over Centauri. Heritage Christian moves into the rankings over Hoehne due to their head-to-head win over Hoehne. Wiggins falls out of the rankings but are still on the verge of being back in the top 10. Hoehne is also just outside the top 10 due to their close lose to Heritage Christian.

Notes: No movement inside the top 9 this week. We have one new team join the rankings and that is Eads. Eads went 2-1 at the Lamar Holiday Shootout with their loss coming to McClave. Eads goes in over Sangre De Cristo and Prairie.
