MileHigh Prep Report Boys Basketball Week 6 Rankings (Class 1A thru 4A)

The opening weekend of 2024 was an exciting one with some teams grabbing huge wins.  Look for changes in all four classes this week.  January is always an interesting month with teams looking for momentum heading into February and the District Tournament.  Good Luck to all teams this week.

Notes:  We had no movement inside the top 10 this week.  McClave and Peetz were the only teams to drop games this week.  McClave lost in OT to Cheyenne Wells and lost to 2A Simla.  Peetz fell to Merino by 15.

Notes: We have a new #1 team this week.  Simla takes over as the #1 team.  Merino had a great week defeating 1A Peetz and Wray and they jump from #8 to #4.  Plateau Valley and Crowley County both move up a spot to #2 and #3.  No new teams join the rankings this week.

Notes: We have a new #1 team in Class 3A this week.  Highland was upset by Yuma this week and fall from the #1 spot to #5.  Yuma jumps from #7 to #4.  Vanguard takes over as the #1 spot with Strasburg, and Manual moving up a spot each.  We also saw Forge Christian pick up a big win over Stargate School and jump to #6.

Notes: We have changes this week from #7 thru #10.  Pueblo Central fell to Sierra and they fall out of the top 10.  Pagosa Springs moves up to #7 with Severance and DSST-Montview at #8 and #9.  Sierra joins the rankings for the first time after a nice win over Pueblo Central.  Most of Sierra losses are to 5A teams.
