MileHigh Prep Report Boys Basketball Week 10 Rankings (Class 1A thru 4A) Presented by Points West Community Bank

Districts will kick off February 19th and we have entered the point in the season where all games will matter.  Just two weeks left and teams are fighting for position. Teams who are hoping to make a move in their District Standings or the Seeding Index it’s time to make your push.  Good Luck to all teams.

Class 1A

Notes:  We have some movement in Class 1A this week.  We saw Briggsdale upset Peetz and Peetz drops from #3 to #7.  We also saw Arickaree defeat Otis and Otis fall out of the rankings.  Denver Jewish Day joins the rankings for the first time this season replacing Otis.  Otis falls to #11 and just outside of the rankings.

Class 2A

Notes: We have movement once again in Class 2A.  Wray defeated Limon by 1 this past weekend and jump up to #5.  Limon falls to #6 and Merino falls to #7.  I debated on what to do with Merino since they did beat Wray head-to-head early in January.  We also see Telluride join the rankings for the first time this season.  They did not play Mancos this past weekend and that game will make a huge difference if it’s played.

Class 3A

Notes: We have a few changes inside Class 3A this week.  We see teams move around after a few results.  Strasburg defeated Yuma and Yuma falls back to #4.  Salida falls to Banning Lewis and falls to #8 and Banning Lewis moves into the #5 spot.

Notes: No movement in Class 4A besides a new team joining the rankings.  Sierra fell to Classical Academy and fall out of the rankings.  Aspen would have been next up, but they fell to Moffat County.  DSST-Conservatory Green did pick up a big win over DSST-Green Valley and move into the #10 spot.  Fort Lupton was just edged out.
