Class 4A CHSAA Selection and Seeding Index (Boys & Girls)

For Class 4A things are a bit different than Class 1A thru 3A.  Class 4A will not play a district tournament.  League Champions earns automatic berths into the playoffs as long as they win their league outright.  Each League must also have a minimum of 5 teams.  Remaining teams will be selected using the CHSAA Seeding & Selection Index.  The Seeding Index is comprised of the RPI and Maxpreps Rankings.  Each poll is weighed evenly.  Higher seeds will host until the First Round of the Great 8.  Great 8 and Final 4+ will be played at a neutral site.  32 total teams’ quality for the Single Elimination Bracket.
