#9 Custer County ended their regular season 5-13 overall and 2nd in the West Central League with a 1-2 league record.   #1 Monte Vista ended their season with a 15-2 overall record and are 1st in the Southern Peaks league with a 7- 0 league record.  The last time Monte Vista and Custer County met, Monte Vista got the victory 56-14. They will play in Monte Vista tonight, 2/20.

These teams will face-off tonight, 2/20, in Del Norte.  Del Norte improved their regional hopes last week jumping to #25.  A win over Trinidad should be more than enough to get them in.  Trinidad currently would be the last team in at #32.  Trinidad will be desperate for a win as you don’t want to leave your fate to the seeding index.

#2 Sanford ended their season with a 14-5 overall record with a 5-2 league record and are 2nd in the Southern Peaks League.  #7 Cotopaxi has a 12-7 overall record for the regular season with a 3-0 league record and are 1st in the West Central League.  The Last time these teams met, Sanford defeated Cotopaxi 40-22 and they will play tonight in Sanford to advance in the district tournament.  Sanford is a lock for regionals.  Cotopaxi is on the bubble at #30.

#3 Sargent is 13-5 overall and have a 4-2 league record and are 3rd in the Southern Peaks League.  #6 Center has an 11-8 season record, a 3-4 league record and are 5th in the Southern Peaks League.  The teams have met twice this season, and Center lost to Sargent both times 44-38, and 56-52. These are close score games and should be a battle as Sargent will be fighting to win, but beating a team three times is always a challenge.  This game is to help improve your seeding for regionals.  Both teams will make regionals, but the question is where will they be seeded.  Sargent sits at #17 and Center sits at #23.
