Class 3A Baseball, How to Make the Playoffs & Leagues

Thirty-two (32) teams qualify for the regional tournaments based on RPI/Maxpreps. League champions not in the top 32 would receive an automatic qualifying position (minimum of 5 teams in a league for automatic berth). The 8 teams with the highest RPI/Maxpreps host regionals. The remaining 24 teams will then be seeded by RPI/Maxpreps and then any first round league matchups will be adjusted. The bottom 8 teams may be moved for geographical purposes.

Note: The regional Tournament will be single elimination with the 8 regional winners advancing to a double elimination state tournament to be played TBA at predetermined sites. Double Elimination Tournament with teams placed on brackets by site. Site 1 winner will be team 1, site 2 winner will be team 2 ect. Home team will be the higher seed throughout the tournament. Games will be in order by game number.
