Baseball CHSAA Selection and Seeding Index Update (Class 3A thru 1A)
I will be posting the CHSAA Selecting and Seeding Index every Monday. Class 3A and Class 2A, 32 teams qualify for the regional tournament based on the CHSAA Selection and Seeding Index. League Champions outside the top 32 with a minimum of 5 teams get an automatic berth. The 8 teams with the Highest CHSAA Seeding Index will host a regional. Teams will be seeded by the CHSAA Seeding and Selection Index. Class 2A & Class 3A will play Double Elimination State Tournaments. Class 1A is a bit different with each District Qualifying their top two teams. With 5 total Districts. The next six teams in the Seeding Index will also make regionals. If a District has fewer than 5 teams, then it will receive just one automatic qualifier. District Champions will be seeded 1-5 by Seeding index with top 4 hosting a regional and the remaining will be seeded by CHSAA Seeding Index avoiding First-Round District Matchups.
