We are starting to wind down on the regular season for Class 3A. It’s crunch time to try and improve your seed for Regionals. Remember for Class 3A that to make the regional bracket you must be ranked in the top 32 of the CHSAA Seeding and Selection index. Class 3A plays a single elimination bracket for regionals. Class 3A will play a double elimination State Tournament. I am using the latest CHSAA Seeding and Selection Index, I pulled it at 9:00am on 5/9.

Class 3A

Thirty-two (32) teams qualify for the regional/state tournament based on the CHSAA Seeding and Selection Index (RPI/MaxPreps). League Champions not in the top 32 would receive an automatic qualify position (Minimum of 5 teams in a league for automatic berth). The eight (8) teams with the highest CHSAA Seeding and Selection Index (RPI/MaxPreps) host regionals, the remaining twenty-four (24) teams will then be seeded by the CHSAA Seeding and Selection Index (RPI/Maxpreps) and then any first round league matchups will be adjusted.
The bottom 8 teams may be moved for geographical purposes.
State Tournament will be double elimination. Site 1 winer will be team 1, site 2 winner will be team 2, ect… Home team will be the higher seed throughout the tournament. Games will be in order by game number.

First Four Out Harrison (33), Aspen (34), Liberty Common (35), Kent Denver (36)

Regional Bracket- League matchups will be avoided in the first round. 8 Regional winners qualifying for state. State Tournament will be double elimination and won’t be reseeded. (5/2 @9:00am)
