Ignacio (0-2) at Olathe (2-0), Friday at 7pm

The final game of the top 8 features a pair of Western Slope teams.  Olathe comes into the matchup at 2-0 overall.  Olathe did not have a varsity program a season ago and played a JV schedule and they look to be going in the right direction this season.  Olathe has already surpassed their win total of both 2022 and 2021.  Olathe already has a pair of wins over South Central teams in Del Norte (47-6) and Center (41-6) and will be looking for win #3 over the South Central teams.  Olathe offensively has been powered by their rushing attack which has racked up 373 yards and 6 TDs.  RB Adam Puga leads all rushers with 164 yards and 2 TDs and RB Angel Arellano-Suarez is #2 with 132 yards and 2 TDs.  Olathe has not put defensive stats in so far this season.  Ignacio comes into the matchup at 0-2 overall.  Ignacio had a bye last week as they played for zero week.  Ignacio has losses to Manual (22-19) and Cedaredge (29-20).  Ignacio will be looking to snap the skid and get into the win column.  Ignacio has no stats put in.
