Class 1A Football Playoff Predictions First Round and Full Bracket

Class 1A Playoff Predictions 1^st Round Only

#1 Wray over #16 North Fork

The game has been moved back to Sunday. Wray looks to be one of the top teams in Class 1A and North Fork will look to pull the huge upset. Wray and North Fork will both look to control the line of scrimmage. Both teams are regulars to the post season.

#8 Highland over #9 Flatirons Academy

Two different styles of play will clash in this game. Highland will look to throw the ball and Flatirons Academy will lean on their rushing attack. Weather could be a factor Saturday, and we will see how it affects this game.

#4 Centauri over #13 Holyoke

Two spreads teams square off in this contest. Centauri will look to get the zone game going and use their aggressive defense. Holyoke will look to match the physical defense with their own and spread the ball around through the air.

#5 Buena Vista over #12 Burlington 3^rd Best Game of the Weekend

This has the making to be a great matchup. Both teams play physical football and both teams must run the ball to have success. Controlling the line of scrimmage is a must and who can play mistake free football.

#2 Forge Christian over #15 Yuma

Should be a good test for Forge Christian against Yuma. Yuma will look to grind out the game against Forge Christian and try and control the clock. Forge Christian will look to spread the ball around in different ways and show they can play physical with any team.

#10 Monte Vista over #7 Meeker Best Game of the Weekend

This should be a great game between a pair of League Champions. Both teams look to run the ball, but each team does things a bit differently. Meeker runs a double wing triple option and Monte Vista will look to run off tackle plus throw the ball round. Defense will be key for both teams in this great matchup.

#6 Wiggins over #11 C.S Christian

Another case of teams doing things differently in this game. C.S Christian relies heavily on their passing attack and their QB to carry the offense. Wiggins looks to their rushing attack to push them to victory. Regardless, defense must come to play. Could be a good matchup.

#3 Limon over #14 Platte Valley 3^rd Best Game of the Weekend

The now healthy Platte Valley pulled out a nice win last week to punch their ticket to the playoffs. I think this will be a close game and come down to the wire. Don’t let the seeds fool you this could be a tight contest. Limon will look to play physically with Platte Valley and Platte Valley will look to get things going through the air.
