Class 1A Football Playoff Predictions Quarterfinals and Full Bracket

First, this is just my opinion.  I would love to hear or see your thoughts on how the 1A bracket turns out.  Second, Good Luck to all teams!  I do not cheer against any teams.  A Full Preview of all matchups will be posted later today.

Class 1A Playoff Predictions Quarterfinals Only

#1 Wray over #8 Highland

Wray cruised to a 48 to 14 win over North Fork in the opening round.  Highland played dominating defense in their shutout 24 to 0 win over Flatirons Academy.  Highland will have to play physical football to knock off the #1 team in the state.

#5 Buena Vista over #13 Holyoke

Holyoke had the biggest upset in Class 1A knocking off #4 Centauri in OT 33 to 30.  This was an exciting game.  #5 Buena Vista held on late to defeat Burlington 21 to 7.  Buena Vista will have to be crisper on offense to avoid the upset.  I don’t expect a high scoring game this week.

#2 Forge Christian over #7 Meeker

Forge Christian cruised to a 42 to 0 win over Yuma.  A big part was the two punt returns by Forge Christian and dominating defense.  Meeker won a shootout with Monte Vista in the opening round 44 to 34.  This was a high scoring game and Meeker must be ready to play improved defense to pull the upset.

#3 Limon over #6 Wiggins

Limon won their opening round game 20 to 10 over Platte Valley.  This was a physical game, and Limon used their defense to come out on top.  Wiggins cruised to a 49 to 12 win over C.S Christian.  Wiggins offensively was unstoppable and they will need to bring the same attitude this weekend.
