Class 2A Football Playoff Predictions Quarterfinals and Full Bracket

First, this is just my opinion. I would love to hear or see your thoughts on how the 2A bracket turns out. Second, Good Luck to all teams! I do not cheer against any teams. A Full Preview of all matchups will be posted tomorrow.

Class 2A Playoff Predictions Quarterfinals

#9 Wellington over #1 Strasburg

Strasburg moved into the quarterfinals with a 41 to 0 win over Denver West. Strasburg will need to be very physical this week on both sides of the ball to advance. Wellington was in a physical contest in the opening round defeating Delta 27 to 23. This lived up to the billing and now Wellington will look to bring their physical style of play into the Quarterfinals.

#13 Eaton over #5 Lamar

Eaton won in a thriller over #4 Elizabeth 21 to 13. Eaton was able to play their physical style of play and Eaton is playing like they normally do in the playoffs. Lamar won in a thriller that came down to the final play. Lamar escaped with a 14 to 7 win over Alamosa in the opening round. Lamar defensively played extremely well and they forced multiple turnovers in the game. Lamar will have to bring that same defensive energy this week.

#2 Basalt over #10 Sterling

Basalt cruised to the 42 to 14 wins over The Academy in the opening round. Basalt was able to play aggressive defense, and their offense was clicking in the win. #10 Sterling hit the road for their opening round game, and they walked away with a 33 to 31 win over Woodland Park. Sterling this week will look for their defense to play physical upfront and their offense to attack the Basalt defense.

#3 Classical Academy over #6 Berthoud

Classical Academy cruised to a 49 to 7 win over Berthoud. TCA will see a much different offense this week and must be able to tackle in space against the throw heavy team of Berthoud. Berthoud cruised to a 42 to 12 win over Montezuma-Cortez in the opening round. Berthoud will face a much more balanced offensive attack this week and offensively must have a big game from their QB.

Here is my entire bracket picked.
