8-Man Football Playoff Predictions Semifinals and Full Bracket
First, this is just my opinion. I would love to hear or see your thoughts on how the 6-man bracket turns out. Second, Good Luck to all teams! I do not cheer against any teams. We will have a full preview of the Quarterfinals game posted Friday.
8-Man Playoff Predictions Semifinal
#1 Haxtun over #4 Mancos
A rematch of last years state championship. Mancos dominated last season on their way to a state title. Mancos is once again playing very good physical football and played dominate against Byers last week. Haxtun also played very well last week blasting Sanford. The only way you can win this game for either team is to play physical football. Both teams want to win the line of scrimmage and that is the key to this game. I can see either team win this game.
#7 Simla over #3 Akron
Simla had the biggest surprise of the Quarterfinals upsetting McClave 48-8. Simla is also playing their best Football of the season with two solid wins over Dove Creek and McClave. Simla must be able to stop the run this week. Akron played well last week defensively holding Sedgwick County to just 6 points. Akron has not broken the 24-point mark in both games. They must be effective running the ball to reach the state title. Very interested to see who defense rises to the occasion in this game.
