Class 1A Football Playoff Predictions State Championship and Full Bracket
This is just my opinion, let me know your predictions on the Class 1A State Championship. Second, Good Luck to all teams! I do not cheer against any teams, and this was a very hard decision to make especially since these two teams have been on a collision course. We will have a full breakdown of the games posted tomorrow, so stay tuned! We also will be at the game providing updates and highlights as we see them!
Class 1A Playoff Predictions Semifinals
#1 Wray over #2 Forge Christian
These two teams have been on a collision course since the beginning of the year and here it’s! The top two teams in Class 1A meeting up to settle who is the best team in 1A. Forge Christian has been absolutely dominating defensively in the playoffs and have yet to give up a point. Speaking of the last time Forge Christian gave up a point was a 48 to 6 win over Prospect Ridge on 10/4. Forge did not play the toughest schedule during the regular season facing 3 playoff teams and that could have a factor in a close game like I expect the state championship to be. Wray has also played very well on defense and the 15 points the gave up to Buena Vista was the most since 9/6 when they gave up 21 points to Goodland KS. Wray played a very tough schedule this year of their 9 regular season games they played 7 playoff teams including Scott City KS who reached the Final 8 of the Class 3A Kansas Playoffs. The last time we expect two teams to meet up in the State Championship and it happened was in 2021 and we were treated to a phenomenal game. I am expecting something similar this year and this was no easy prediction to make. Prepare for some physical football and I think small mistakes make the biggest difference in the game.
