Class 2A Football Playoff Predictions State Championship and Full Bracket
This is just my opinion, let me know your predictions on the Class 2A State Championship. Second, Good Luck to all teams! I do not cheer against any teams, and this was a very hard decision. Class 2A Playoff Predictions Semifinals
#3 Classical Academy over #9 Wellington
In typical Class 2A Fashion we have the #3 seed vs the #9 seed and we are looking forward to a fantastic matchup. I stated from the beginning of the Class 2A playoffs that Wellington was not the #9 seeded team but should have been a top 4 seed and here they are playing who I thought should be the #1 seed in the state championship. Wellington has taken on the #8, #1, and #13 seed on their run to the state championship. TCA has taken on the #14, #6, and #2 seed on their run to the state championship. Both have played tough schedules with many of the top teams being defeated by these two teams. The list of teams defeated by Wellington and Classical Academy is impressive: Delta, Strasburg, Eaton, Pagosa Springs, Berthoud, and Basalt. Looking at both teams defensively they both have played solid defense thru the playoffs. Offensively we are looking at two different offensive systems. Wellington is running a single wing I/split back with a flair of double wing motion and TCA runs a spread inside/outside zone offense with the ability to throw the ball. I went back and forth on who to pick in this game and I am going to stick with my bracket and pick TCA. I am expecting a physical and hard-fought game!
