Congratulations to the 8-Man State Champions the Haxtun Bulldogs
Haxtun is your 8-Man Football State Champions. Haxtun defeated league rival Akron 46 to 20 to secure the 8-Man Title. This was a very physical and hard-fought game with both teams leaving everything on the field. Haxtun jumped out to the early 14 to 0 lead but Akron fought back and made things interesting trailing just 26 to 14 at Halftime. Akron would narrow the lead to just a one score game with three-minutes left in the third quarter 26 to 20. Haxtun would then recover a fumble one the one-yard line and would score the next play. Haxtun would never look back from this point forward and capture the title.
