Class 3A Wrestling Week 2 Recap and Week 3 Preview

Week 2 Recap

Week 2 of wrestling has wrapped up and it brought us lots of action in the way of several duals as well as a few very good tournaments.

Starting off with some notable duals, we look at Basalt grabbing a 4-point victory over Grand Valley. Across the state was another close battle where Fort Morgan beat opponent Fort Lupton by just 2 points. Delta vs. Valley where Valley would come out on top by 5 points. Gunnison would come out over Centauri by just 6 points. Timnath over Wellington by a score of 42-37.

Let’s dive into some of the weekend’s tournaments and take a closer look at some team races as well as some of the individual results from some 3A competitors.

First, we look at the Denver North Invite where Mullen came out on top in the team race, followed by Skyview in 3^rd, and Mitchell and Denver West would come in at 13^thand 14^th respectively. Individual placers for these teams are as follows:
