3A Wrestling Week 3 Recap Week 4 Preview, by Tyler Buhr

With the passing of the Holidays and 2025 officially here, wrestling season now takes on a whole different feeling.  The state tournament being at the forefront of everyone’s minds and it being only 6 weeks away, the pressure is building.  The 2-pound allowance will now be in affect and look for many wrestlers to be settled into a new weight class once wrestling resumes.  Before we look ahead to this weekend for current action let’s look at some noteworthy action from before the break.

Noteworthy 3A action – Alamosa would have the highest finish out of any other Colorado 3A teams (31.5 points) but no individual medal performances. Next would be Jefferson with 28.5 points and individually Isiah Gallegos would take away a 6th place finish at 138 lbs.  Mullen would finish with 26 team points and no individual medals.
