Class 2A Baseball, How to Make the Playoffs & Leagues
Thirty-two (32) teams qualify for the regional tournaments based on RPI/Maxpreps. League champions not in the top 32 would receive an automatic qualifying position (minimum of 5 teams in a league for automatic berth). The 8 teams with the highest RPI/Maxpreps host regionals. The remaining 24 teams will then be seeded by RPI/Maxpreps and then any first round league matchups will be adjusted. The bottom 8 teams may be moved for geographical purposes. Minimum games to qualify for postseason are 17.
Note: The regional tournament will be single elimination, with the 8 regional winners advancing to a double elimination state tournament to be played TBA at predetermined sites. Double elimination tournament with teams placed on brackets based on their regular season seeding and selection index. Team #1 is the team with the best seeding and selection index, team #2 has the second-best seeding and selection index, etc. through team #8.

State Tournament Bracket
Double Elimination pulled straight from CHSAA Bulletin. After Regionals State Tournament Bracket will be seeded as stated above, Team #1 will be best team in the CHSAA Seeding and Selection Index and go down from there.
