Class 3A Baseball, How to Make the Playoffs & League Alignment

Thirty -two (32) teams qualify for the regional tournament based on RPI/Maxpreps.  League Champions not in the top 32 would receive an automatic qualifying position (minimum 5 teams in a league for automatic birth). The eight (8) teams with the highest RPI/Maxpreps host regionals, the remaining twenty-four (24) teams will then be seeded by RPI /Maxpreps and then any first-round league match-ups will be adjusted. The bottom eight (8) teams may be moved for geographical purposes.

Note: The regional tournaments will be single elimination, with the eight regional winners advancing to a double elimination state tournament to be played TBA at predetermined sites.  Double elimination tournament with teams placed on brackets based on their regular season seeding and selection index.  Team #1 is the team with the best seeding and selection index, team #2 has the second-best seeding and selection index, etc… through team #8
