Class 3A Baseball Regional Projections (4/24/2025)
We have less than two weeks left of the regular season in Class 2A. Getting good position for Regionals can be the difference between making it to state and falling at regionals. Remember for Class 2A that to make the regional bracket you must be ranked in the top 32 of the CHSAA Seeding and Selection index. Class 2A plays a single elimination bracket for regionals. I am using the latest CHSAA Seeding and Selection Index, I pulled it at 8:00am on 4/24.
Class 3A
Thirty-two (32) teams qualify for the regional tournaments based on RPI/Maxpreps. League champions not in the top 32 would receive an automatic qualifying position (minimum of 5 teams in a league for automatic berth). The 8 teams with the highest RPI/Maxpreps host regionals. The remaining 24 teams will then be seeded by RPI/Maxpreps and then any first round league matchups will be adjusted. The bottom 8 teams may be moved for geographical purposes.
The regional tournament will be single elimination, with the 8 regional winners advancing to a double elimination state tournament to be played TBA at predetermined sites. Double elimination tournament with teams placed on brackets by site. Site 1 winer will be team 1, site 2 winner will be team 2, ect… Home team will be the higher seed throughout the tournament. Games will be in order by game number.

Centauri (33), Jefferson Academy (34), Strasburg (35), La Junta (36)
Regional Bracket- League matchups will be avoided in the first round. 8 Regional winners qualifying for state. State Tournament will be double elimination and will be reseeded.
