Class 3A Baseball Regional Predictions
If you have been following MileHigh Prep Report since we started, you know how much we like doing our predictions even if we catch slack. Just know we are not cheering against any teams, and we are proven wrong all the time. We enjoy putting the predictions out there and look forward to seeing the results of the games. #16 Manitou Springs over #17 Bennett

#1 University over #16 Manitou Springs
Manitou Springs over Bennett should be a great game in the opening round. University vs Manitou Springs could also be a good matchup but University has great pitching depth.
Region 2
#2 Colorado Academy over #31 Berthoud
#18 Valley over #15 Alameda
Regional Finals
#2 Colorado Academy over #18 Valley
Both games in the opening round should be good and Colorado Academy did not get an easy draw with Berthoud. Valley vs Alameda also will be a good one. Valley could challenge Colorado Academy.
Region 3
#3 Coal Ridge over #30 Timnath
#14 Peak to Peak over #19 Gunnison
Regional Finals
#3 Coal Ridge over #14 Peak to Peak
Coal Ridge did not get an easy draw with Timnath. Timnath has wins over some good teams during the regular season plus a 4A schedule. Peak to Peak vs Gunnison also will be good game but I think Peak to Peak tougher schedule is a key difference. Coal Ridge vs Peak to Peak will be a good one in the regional finals.
Region 4
#4 Eaton over #29 La Junta
#13 Lamar over #20 Basalt

#4 Eaton over #13 Lamar
Lamar vs Basalt will be one of the better games in the opening round. I also think if Lamar meets up with Eaton that could be a good matchup. Eaton has lost some games this year and they will have to put it all together to avoid the upset.
Region 5
#5 Sterling over #28 The Academy
#12 Delta over #21 Kent Denver
Regional Finals
#5 Sterling over #12 Delta
All the games in this region should be good games. The Academy can challenge Sterling and I think Delta vs Kent Denver is very similar. We may be looking at what teams has the most depth in their pitching staff to advance to the state tournament.
Region 6
#6 Resurrection Christian over #27 Arvada
#11 Brush over #22 Alamosa
Regional Finals
#6 Resurrection Christian over #11 Brush
Brush vs Alamosa should be a good one in the opening round. If Resurrection Christian and Brush meet in the regional finals that one could have some fireworks and be one of the best games in the regional finals.
Region 7
#7 Montezuma-Cortez over #26 Jefferson Academy
#10 Elizabeth over #23 Liberty Common

#10 Elizabeth over #7 Montezuma-Cortez
Montezuma-Cortez did not get an easy draw with Jefferson Academy who had their best week of the season to end the year. Elizabeth vs Cortez in the regional finals may be one of the best matchups in the regional finals and could come down to which team has better depth at pitcher.

#8 Classical Academy over #25 Woodland Park
#9 Prospect Ridge over #24 Salida

#9 Prospect Ridge over #8 Classical Academy
I think all the games in this region could be good games. If we get Prospect Ridge vs TCA I think that will be the best matchup of the regional finals. Looking forward to see how this region turns out.
