Preliminary Classification Splits for 2026 to 2028

CHSAA has released their preliminary numbers for splits for the 2026 to 2028 cycle.  They have also released their preliminary enrollment data.  None of this is confirmed until February. 

Quick Timeline:

Enrollment Count Submitted by Oct 1^st

Sport Participation Declarations for the 2026-28 Classification Cyle by Oct 15^th

CHSAA office will work with the enrollment numbers to place schools in the classification for which they fall. Schools that qualify to place-down confirm its intent to accept the place-down by Dec 1^st

All primary league placements must be finalized ahead of the Classification and League Organizing Committee meeting on Dec 10^th

Recommendations from CLOC will be sent to the Legislative Council for a vote in February.
