Every year during the preseason I give my league prediction. This year I am going to update them just one time before we enter league play. I will have my original predictions so you can compare from the preseason. I will also update the 16 teams I think make the playoffs. Frontier League

Minimal changes from my preseason pick to today. 3 teams are in playoff contention from the Frontier League. Flatirons Academy lost to Manual does hurt and I am not sure if the loser of Flatirons Academy vs Prospect Ridge can get into the playoffs. Will be a fun race to watch!

No changes from the Preseason till today. The top 3 teams are all playoff contenders in the Central League. The main question will be can all 3 get in or will only the top 2 teams get into the playoffs. Manual did get a huge win over Flatirons and could help propel them into the playoffs.

Only a few changes from the preseason to today. I still like Limon chances of winning the North Central, but this is a loaded league, and anyone can win it. All 6 teams are playoff contenders, and I could easily see a path where all 6 get in.

Only a few changes from the preseason to today. Only two teams are playoff contenders from this league and that is Monte Vista & Centauri. Both could hurt from the lack of wins from other teams, but we will see if anyone can rise up and challenge the top two teams.

The Tri-Peaks League should be very competitive as all 5 teams in league have winning records. Currently all 5 teams are playoff contenders due to their records, but I believe 3 teams will have a shot at the playoffs.

The Western Slope looks to be a great battle the top 4 teams this year. The top 4 teams also look to be playoff contenders, but I believe 2 maybe 3 teams can push into playoff contention. Should be a fun league title race to watch.

Class 1A Football Playoff Projections Week 6

This year to reach the playoffs is simple. Either win your league title or be inside the top 16 of the CHSAA Seeding Index. After they select the 16 teams that make the playoffs, they use the CHSAA Seeding Index to seed the playoffs. This week I will be giving my predictions on who makes the playoffs, but I will also look at if the season ended today who would make the playoffs at the end. Good Luck to all teams.

This is if the season ended today 10/3/2024. Using the CHSAA Seeding Index I will come up with the Playoff field. League Champions selected with my Predictions. I will seed & select the bracket with the CHSAA Seeding Index. Remember this is still very early and things will change.
