Class 2A Football Playoff Predictions Quarterfinals and Full Bracket!
First, this is just my opinion. I would love to hear or see your thoughts on how the 2A bracket turns out. Second, Good Luck to all teams! I do not cheer against any teams. A Full Preview of all matchups will be posted tomorrow.
Class 2A Playoff Predictions Quarterfinals Only
Class 2A has been one of the hard Classes to fill out and I expect every game to be a good one!
#1 Strasburg over #9 Eaton
Both teams had to play all four quarters to advance, and this has the making of a fantastic game. Both teams will look to control the line of scrimmage. Eaton must be able to get their QB going this week but will lean heavy on their rushing attack. Strasburg offense is a bit more dynamic, and they faced a run heavy team last week. I am not expect a lot of points scored in this game.
#5 Brush over #4 Elizabeth
Brush picked up a big win last week and look to be healthy heading into the Quarterfinals. Elizabeth was in a shootout last week. Both teams want to run the ball and must, to have success in this game. Defense will be key to this matchup. We saw both teams can put up points and we could see another high scoring game.
#2 Wellington over #7 Resurrection Christian Game of the Week
My game of the Week in Class 2A. Wellington was tested by Resurrection Christian during the regular season and I don’t expect anything different this time around. This will be a very physical game and look for this to be decided by minimal points.
#3 Classical Academy over #6 Kent Denver
Both teams picked up blowout wins in their opening round with Both TCA and Kent Denver scoring over 45 points. TCA will look to dominate up front, and Kent Denver will look to match the physicality of TCA and also get their passing attack going.
