Class 2A Football Playoff Predictions Semifinals and Full Bracket!
First, this is just my opinion. I would love to hear or see your thoughts on how the 2A bracket turns out. Second, Good Luck to all teams! I do not cheer against any teams. A Full Preview of all matchups will be posted tomorrow.
Class 2A Playoff Predictions Semifinals Only
Class 2A has been one of the hard Classes to fill out and I expect every game to be a good one!
#9 Eaton over #4 Elizabeth
Both teams come into the matchup coming off super close games and both should have key momentum as they head into the semifinals. Eaton pulled the biggest upset of the tournament so far knocking off #1 Strasburg and once again has made their traditional late season run. Elizabeth seems to have finally knocked the monkey off their back as they have moved past the first round and are making a deep run. This game I expect to come right down to the wire yet again and could come down to the smallest margins. That could be a key goal line stand, turnovers, or special teams.
#2 Wellington over #3 Classical Academy
Wellington cruised into the semifinals defeating a very good Resurrection Christian team 42 to 12. Wellington is now looking for some revenge from last years state championship and get to host this key semifinal game. TCA joined the other two quarterfinals coming right down to the wire and actually came down to a two-point conversion they stopped to beat Kent Denver. Both teams have leaned on running the ball and that will be they key in this game. I do expect this to be a close game.
