Class 2A Football Playoff Predictions State Championship and Full Bracket!
First, this is just my opinion. I would love to hear or see your thoughts on how the 2A State Championship turns out. Second, Good Luck to all teams! I do not cheer against any teams. A Full Preview of all matchups will be posted tomorrow.
Class 2A Playoff Predictions Semifinals Only
#2 Wellington over #4 Elizabeth
The Class 2A State Championship game should be a good one and come down to one main things. Who wins in the trenches. Wellington got here by taking care of business in each round winning all games by 21 plus points and playing great defense giving up just 19 points in 3 games. Wellington offensively leans heavily on their rushing attack but can hit a big pass when needed. Elizabeth is similar offensively looking to run first and dominate the line of scrimmage. Elizabeth path to the State Championship was a grind defeating Pagosa Springs by 6, Brush by 3, and dominating against Eaton. Elizabeth has had no problems scoring breaking the 35 point mark in all three games. We could see a high scoring game yet again in this matchup and I expect a physical game.
