As promised, a quick recap of the big pre holiday break tournaments. We will go weight by weight mentioning any placers and highlighting matchups where it was both 2A competitors going head to head.

Cash Martinez (Cedaredge) would work his way to the finals where he would take the decision loss to bring home 2nd. Ignacio’s Aven Bourriague would go 5-2 on the weekend to bring home 5th place.

Lone 2A placer at 126 was Bronson Hall (North Fork), bringing back 4th place on the weekend where he went to the semis, lost, then won his conso semis match.

Koy Weber (Meeker) goes 4-2 on the weekend and grabs a solid 5th place finish.

Olathe’s Monty Yarnell would take 3rd. On the weekend went 5-2 with four wins coming by pin and a major decision in his medal match.

This weight class would feature a pair of 2A wrestlers grabbing medals. Braeden Flores of North Fork would bring home 4th and Landon Lockhart (West Grand) would grab 5th. Flores beat Lockhart in the conso semis match by 9-3 decision.

Kannon Sherman (Norwood) absolutely runs the table on the weekend, grabbing the title. On his way his wins would come by pin, tech, pin, pin, and a 38 second pin in the finals.
