Well wrestling season has started the second half of the season. To recap the last week of the year two tournament stood out to me, where the Warrior Classic held at Grand Junction Central and Northern Colorado Christmas Tournament held in Greeley. Thornton, Chatfield and Pueblo Central went 2nd 3rd and 4th in team rankings. Chatfield had 6 placers, Thornton had 6 and Pueblo Central had 6 as well. As for the Warrior Classic The host team won the tournament with 10 placers, Canon City was 3rd with 4 placers and Ignacio was 5th place with 5 players.

The first week back from break there was the la Junta Invitational and the Conflict in Cleveland held by Cleveland high school in New Mexico. There were quite a few school that attended the tournament. At the LA Junta tournament Lamar won the tournament followed by La Junta and Holy Family. At the Comflict in Cleveland Pueblo Central placed 2nd with 6 placers followed by Eaglecrest with 3rd place with 5 placers amd Las Animas taking 7th place with 5 placers to round out thr top 10.
